Beauty Special: This Works #SleepPlus Challenge

After what can be a stressful day in the office, I like to unwind by using This Works’ Deep Sleep Pillow spray.  I have been using the spray every evening for almost a year now and thought I would try their newly released Sleep Plus + Pillow spray and their #SleepPlus challenge, which is designed for those of us that would like to improve our health or our appearance.  

To take the challenge, I was asked a set of 10 questions to rate between 1 and 10 and as my score was less than 70, I was sent a sample of their new spray.  Here are my results after seven days:

Day 1

  • Food and drink – not great (first day in new job)
  • Partner away so just dog
  • Difficult to calm mind
  • Went to bed at 23.00 pm
  • Sprayed bed linen with Sleep Plus +
  • Woke up 10 minutes before alarm but felt groggy for the rest of the day

Day 2

  • Food and drink - better
  • Unplanned power nap
  • Sprayed bed linen with Sleep Plus +
  • Bed at 23.00 pm

Day 3

  • Sprayed bed linen with Sleep Plus +
  • Bed at 23.00 pm

Day 4

  • Sprayed bed linen with Sleep Plus +
  • Bed at 10 pm but woke at 5.30 am (because of dog)

Day 5

  • Unplanned power nap
  • Sprayed bed linen with Sleep Plus +
  • Bed at 10 pm!

Day 6

  • Lie-in
  • Sprayed bed linen with Sleep Plus +
  • Bed at 10 pm!

Day 7

  • Lie-in
  • Sprayed bed linen with Sleep Plus +
  • Bed at 10 pm!

My new score is: 78/100.  I think this is due to being made aware of what I am eating and drinking, how to calm my mind (I use an App called Headspace) and going to bed earlier (even if it is just an hour).  This Works have also given permission to take daytime naps and sleep in at the weekends!
