Beauty Special: Fast Make-Up Fixes & Tips

Working into the evenings has left me choosing between extra sleep in the mornings or a shower, a nice breakfast and a regular beauty regime but there are a few things I have learned to make the process easier.

After a long day, the first thing I like to do is jump in the shower; exfoliate, shave my legs and apply a hair mask.  It is also important to make this feel like downtime so I listen to Podcasts (usually Undisclosed or The Serial Dynasty).  I hydrate whilst I sleep and leave hairstyling until the morning - bear with me on this one.

Sticking with neutral tones, I set aside my make-up for the next day.

My current morning skincare regime consists of just three products, Body Shop's Camomile Silky Cleansing OilBody Shop's Vitamin C Eye Reviver Duo and Sanctuary's Illuminating Moisture Lotion SPF 15 - there is also a 15ml available.

Using my L.A.B. 2 'I'm Turning Pro' Brush Kit, I blend L'Oreal's True Match Foundation (Rose Vanilla) with Maybelline's The Eraser Eye Concealer (light) and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.  When applying under eye concealer, I draw a triangle with the base under my eye pointing towards my cheek - this will give an instant lift.

I then add Maybelline's Dream Touch Blush to both cheeks and lips - this blush is also great for building intensity and to finish, I powder areas that are prone to shine with the Bourjois' Healthy Balance Compact Powder.

The eyes are kept simple with Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre (82 Emerveille), Chanel's Le Crayon Kohl (Noir) to the upper waterline and the new Diorshow Mascara to the upper lashes.

My skincare regime and make-up takes under 8 minutes but if I literally have no time, I just add a pop of colour to my lips such as a vibrant red.

For my hair, I simply spray COLAB's Dry Shampoo directly on to the roots and curl a few pieces of hair to add texture.

I also carry with me a spare toothbrush (I picked up from a hotel) and mini hairspray to tame those flyaways throughout the day.
